Hello Manu's, 

We hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend. We wanted to give you a heads up that we will be issuing another survey next week. We have noticed that a lot of our Kickstarter backers are finding it difficult to update their address and select their colour choice. In view of this we have setup a new system using Backer kit which will make it easy to track your shipment, update your address and make a colour selection. This has now been completed and you should start receiving surveys regarding your colour choice and address confirmation from next week. Please take your time and complete it once received and if you want to change anything you can do so by logging back in. 

 We are now almost done with the implementation of suggestions from the beta testers on Mymanu Play. Release updates, remaining testing and the shipping schedule will be published later next week. Until then have a good weekend and please start completing the survey once you receive yours.

Mymanu- April update-connectivity

Hope you are all well. Another month has gone and more progress has been made on Clik Mymanu Play - Beta Testing almost finished We finally received the long-awaited approval from Apple, we kicked off beta testing of Mymanu Play. This will be the core music App of Clik that will enable you to select any of your songs from one platform and adjust sound effect. Our devoted winning backers have tested it tirelessly to identify any bugs. This week is the last stretch before we start making changes to make sure all features work perfectly. Thanks to:

It must be the antenna again…” Remember when the first mobile phones were invented with the external antenna?  

In the past weeks, our engineers have been working around the clock to fine tune the connection between the left and right ear. The purpose was to test and finalise all engineering components to ensure that the product performs to the exact specifications of the final product.  

When it comes to connection between wireless earbuds and phones, it is quite easy. Many firms have been doing this for years. However, the real challenge is when we add another connection to the earphones – like connection between the left and right earbuds to add more features - and maintain a strong connection to your device. Imagine you listen to a track on your wireless earbuds and you can only hear it from one side. How annoying would that be!  

Most current Bluetooth earbuds on the market fail at delivering a constant connection without losing any sound quality. Poor connection and drop in between the two ears due to the way the Bluetooth antenna works. We therefore decided to invent our own antenna. Our testing has shown a performance much higher than any other wireless earbuds on the market and we are pleased  

Packaging:  

If packaging is crucial to attract customers in shops, it is also essential to ensure Mymanu CLIK® is listed with retailers. It’s not a like rocket science. Our team have been working on it, the user guide, labels, and many other things and should be ready this month. We are making sure it reflects the values of Mymanu.

Hope you are all well. What an exciting month it has been.

Mymanu Clik® enters a critical phase

For the past few weeks, our engineers have been testing the Mymanu Clik® prototype.

For instance, we had to fine-tune some audio components in order to get the highest sound quality on the market. Sound is extremely important whether you listen to a song or a conversation. We have also made few tweaks to the charging case. We want it to be innovative so people say: Wow! We are getting there. 

We have also completed several communication test - Dual mode communication using Mymanu Clik®, Multi-mode and long distance mode.

The testing of prototype by our engineers is critical at this stage. The more we fine-tune now, the better and quicker the Beta testing will be. We will be asking some of you will take part in our Beta testing very shortly J. Our priority is to ensure you are satisfied with your earbuds. This means working really hard now on finding solutions to overcome challenges.

Mymanu Play Competition

A big thank you to everyone who participated in our competition and helped make it a success! We received over 1,000 outstanding entries to try out Mymanu Play, the App that will enable you to access all your music files and streams from one platform and discover what people listen around you. We would like to congratulate the 10 winners: James P, Will S, Mike R, Mark W, Charles A, Eric H, Natalie K, Gary K, Nicole K and David C. In the next few days they will be testing the App alongside our engineers and give us their feedback and also report any bugs to correct before the official release.

Everyone who entered Mymanu Play competition will automatically be entered in the next competition to beta test Mymanu Translate, the translation App that can be used with Mymanu Click and / or your smartphone. Watch this space.

We are now back from Mobile World Congress (MWC) in sunny Barcelona. Did you see the new release of Nokia 3310?

What a show!

What an incredible show we had at MWC. To those of you who didn’t make it there, Mymanu Clik was THE product everyone talked about – from worldwide media or phone manufacturers to tech specialists in Germany and China.

Whether it was in French, Japanese, Mandarin or Swedish, people were amazed by the accuracy of our proprietary translation system. A lot of effort has been put into it so we are really proud of it.

Now, our engineers and designers are putting the final touches to Mymanu Clik. Please keep spreading the word about Mymanu Clik so we can break the language barrier together.
